Sono (Hydration) Treatment, What Makes Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic Different

1. Depending on your skin condition, we always combine and penetrate two types of ampoules.

Just because your skin is dry, we don't just use hyaluronic acid alone.

We always use two ampoules tailored to your current skin, delivering them deep into the dermis with ultrasound, simultaneously enhancing absorption and efficacy.

2. After the treatment, we fix the active ingredients with a Jauungo modeling pack.

After ampoule penetration, we always finish with a Jauungo modeling pack.

This helps with skin barrier recovery, soothing, and moisture retention, thereby extending the duration of the effects.

3. Handling speed and pressure are adjusted differently according to your skin condition.

We adjust the handling speed based on skin responses such as pores, redness, and inner dryness.

Considering the thickness of each facial area, we adjust the intensity, and perform the treatment by standardizing the practitioner's technique.

4. Ampoules are applied more than twice per combination, and aloe vera gel is sufficiently replenished.

We do not dilute ampoules to save on cost.

Ampoules are not simply applied based on 'the amount to be spread', but calculated and used based on the amount that can penetrate.

Aloe vera gel is also reapplied to each area, ensuring the treatment proceeds without ultrasound loss.

5. The reason for high-density treatment – Our structure is different.

With a reservation system that is one-third the capacity of competitors, we have a structure that allows us to focus entirely on the treatment.

One dedicated person handles everything from consultation to post-treatment care, flexibly adjusting to real-time responses.

6. Appointment Time = Treatment Start Time, 5% discount if exceeded by 10 minutes.

To eliminate waiting and ensure dense, focused treatments, we avoid overbooking.

If there is a delay after the scheduled appointment time, we adhere to our policy of a 5% discount for every 10 minutes of delay.

Sono (Hydration) Treatment, Why Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic Is Different

1. Ampoule selection tailored to your skin condition + Maximized penetration.

Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic is not a place that unconditionally uses only one hyaluronic acid ampoule just because the skin is dry.

After diagnosing the patient's skin condition, from among hydration, brightening, soothing, and regeneration ampoules,

we combine and use two ampoules that are essential for the current skin condition.

For example, for skin with both dryness and redness,

we use a hyaluronic acid-based hydration ampoule and an azulene-based soothing ampoule together.

Through a combination that considers the synergistic effect of the two ampoules, we maximize both absorption and efficacy simultaneously.

The ampoules selected in this way are not merely applied topically, but are penetrated into the dermal layer using ultrasound (Sono).

This temporarily opens the skin barrier to help deliver active ingredients deeply, promoting not just superficial hydration, but inner hydration and recovery of skin function.

2. After treatment, absorption is fixed with a Jauungo modeling pack.

At Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic, after Sono treatment, we always! apply a Jauungo modeling pack.

This is a finishing process that helps the active ingredients, deeply penetrated into the skin with ultrasound, to remain in the skin for a longer time.

Jauungo is based on herbal ingredients such as Sanguisorba officinalis, Licorice, Lithospermum erythrorhizon, and Astragalus membranaceus,

and is effective in skin regeneration, barrier strengthening, and inflammation relief.

When used with a modeling pack, it prevents moisture loss and stabilizes skin temperature,

further enhancing the longevity and efficacy of the absorbed ampoules.

It's not just a simple finishing pack.

It's a therapeutic finish that fixes absorption.

3. Handling speed and pressure are adjusted according to your skin condition.

The essence of Sono treatment is not merely delivering ultrasound to the skin,

but how and to which skin type it is delivered.

At Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic,

we adjust the handling speed differently according to your skin condition.

For skin with severe inner dryness, we move slowly to allow the ultrasound to penetrate sufficiently,

while for areas with large pores or excessive sebum secretion, we move faster to enhance penetration.

Sensitive or reddened skin is delicately treated with pressure and speed that minimize irritation.

The pressure is also not maintained uniformly,

but adjusted in intensity according to the skin thickness and sensitivity of each facial area.

Thin areas like the cheekbones and thicker areas like the jawline

cannot achieve the same effect at the same speed.

Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic has standardized all these processes,

not relying solely on the practitioner's intuition, but by manualizing them,

and systematized them to enable customized handling according to each skin condition.

4. The precise amount of ampoule and aloe vera gel used also varies.

The key to Sono treatment is for the ampoule ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin,

but if the amount of ampoule used is insufficient, skin friction occurs,

absorption rates decrease, and ultrasound energy is not properly delivered.

At Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic,

we apply ample amounts of aloe vera gel and ampoule, re-applying as needed during the treatment to ensure the skin surface does not dry out.

Especially when using a combination of two ampoules,

we apply each ampoule at least twice to ensure every ingredient can fully penetrate.

Aloe vera gel is not applied in small amounts just to coat the surface,

but re-applied to each area to ensure the device head glides smoothly without interruption.

There is absolutely no practice of diluting ampoules to save on product.

This is not merely a matter of 'applying generously',

but a standard to ensure the accuracy and penetration power of the treatment.

Rather than providing a 'perfunctory' treatment with small amounts,

our principle is to use more than the standard amount for guaranteed results.

5. Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic's Sono treatment allows for high-density procedures – our structure is different.

While many clinics possess the technology,

they often have tightly packed schedules,

with multiple staff members attending to several patients simultaneously,

resulting in quick, superficial care and treatments.

Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic's very structure is different.

We limit the number of patients seen per day,

operate with an appointment density approximately 1/3 of that in the same industry,

and have a system in place that allows us to focus on the treatment without being rushed.

Thanks to this, we can observe the patient's skin reactions in real-time during Sono treatment and

flexibly adjust the irradiation mode, intensity, and even handling pattern.

Without missing the moments when your skin reacts sensitively,

an environment that allows us to respond accordingly,

This is what enables Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic to provide dense and focused care.

6. Appointment Time = Treatment Start Time. This is a clinic that keeps its promises.

Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic considers the client's time as part of the treatment.

We have abandoned the structure where 'reservations' are merely taken and waiting is the norm.

If there is a delay of more than 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time,

we operate a system of 5% discount per 10 minutes.

This is not just compensation for time,

but a commitment to 'not overbook appointments',

and a principle to maintain the density of care for each individual.

Care that starts on time, without waiting or disruption,

is also the most ideal structure for the practitioner to maintain their condition and focus on one person.

Sono (Hydration) Treatment Principle

1. Ultrasonic vibrations that ‘temporarily open’ the skin barrier

The ultrasound used in Sono treatments delivers fine vibrational energy of 1-3MHz to the skin.

These vibrations loosen the intercellular lipid structure of the skin surface,

allowing high-molecular ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides

to penetrate beyond the epidermis and reach the dermal layer.

This is known as the Sonophoresis effect.

2. Thermal stimulation enhances absorption.

Ultrasound generates subtle frictional heat within the skin,

locally raising the temperature by about 1-3 degrees.

This thermal stimulation increases blood flow and promotes cell metabolism,

creating an environment where active ingredients penetrate better and remain longer.

3. Not just 'adding' moisture, but creating a 'moisture-retaining structure'

Hydration is not achieved merely by supplying moisture.

True hydration requires a skin structure capable of retaining moisture.

The dermal layer of the skin contains a moisture-storage structure composed of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

This moisture storage structure exists.

The subtle mechanical stimulation of ultrasound stimulates fibroblasts in the dermis,

inducing collagen production and ECM (Extracellular Matrix) restructuring where hyaluronic acid resides.

As a result, the skin recovers its 'moisture retention infrastructure,' allowing it to hold and maintain moisture longer.

Recommended for Sono (Hydration) Treatment

1. 'Inner-dry oily skin' that looks shiny on the outside but feels tight on the inside.

If your skin appears oily on the surface but makeup flakes and you feel tightness internally,

this indicates reduced moisture storage capacity in the dermal layer of your skin.

Sono hydration treatment deeply penetrates hyaluronic acid into the dermis,

helping to provide hydration that fills from within.

2. Skin that does not improve dryness despite applying moisturizers.

If your skin quickly dries out or flakes even after applying moisturizer,

your skin barrier may be compromised or its absorption pathways blocked.

Ultrasound temporarily loosens the barrier,

creating a pathway for ampoules to be absorbed effectively.

3. Skin that has become sensitive after treatments such as laser or peeling

When your skin feels red and sensitive or regeneration seems slow after a procedure,

Sono-hydration management penetrates calming ampoules + regenerating ampoules deep into the dermis,

accelerating skin recovery and alleviating heat and irritation.

4. Skin where makeup doesn't adhere well and base foundation lacks staying power

One of the reasons makeup floats on the skin or pills is

due to uneven skin texture and insufficient internal hydration.

If you receive Sono-hydration management the day before an important event,

you'll notice a significant improvement in makeup adherence, along with a feeling of plumped skin.

5. Individuals whose skin condition rapidly deteriorates with every change of season

During seasonal transitions, monsoon season, winter, etc.,

skin that reacts sensitively to environmental changes

has a structure where the barrier and dermal hydration easily break down.

Regular Sono management helps maintain stable skin condition, unperturbed by seasonal changes.

6. Sensitive skin that easily reddens or feels tight from daily irritations

If your skin frequently reddens and gets irritated due to fine dust, stress, lack of sleep, etc.,

your skin's defense capabilities are lowered.

Sono calming ampoules and the micro-stimulation of ultrasound quickly stabilize irritated skin.

Difference between Sono (Hydration) Management, LDM, and Ionto (Brightening) Management?

Sono (Ultrasound) Management – Penetrates high-molecular-weight hydrating ingredients deep into the dermis

How it works

Delivers 1-3MHz ultrasonic vibrations to the skin

Temporarily expands the intercellular lipid structure,

allowing large molecular weight hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid to penetrate the dermis

Suitable ingredients

High-molecular-weight water-soluble ampoules such as hyaluronic acid, EGF, peptides, and azulene

Focuses on moisture retention and skin barrier recovery

Indications

Inner dryness, tightness, flaking, compromised barrier

Post-treatment calming and hydration

Iontophoresis (Ionto) – Specialized in penetrating low-molecular-weight ionic brightening ingredients

How it works

Passes direct current (DC) through the skin

A method that pushes cationic and anionic ingredients deep into the skin using the repulsion of charges

Suitable ingredients

Ionized low-molecular-weight ingredients such as Vitamin C, arbutin, tranexamic acid, and glutathione

Most whitening ingredients carry an electric charge and therefore react to electric current.

Indications

Melasma, hyperpigmentation, improvement of dull skin tone

Whitening effect amplified when combined with laser toning

LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-massage) – Specialized in inflammation control and tissue recovery

Working Principle

Frequency switching hundreds to thousands of times per second

Fibroblast stabilization, inhibition of inflammatory mediators (MMPs, TNF-α, etc.)

Skin regeneration, barrier strengthening action

Suitable Ingredients

Inducing tissue response itself is the main purpose rather than ingredient delivery

Synergistic effect when combined with soothing and regenerating ampoules

Indications

Acne, atopy, sensitive skin, inner dryness

Soothing post-laser heat sensation, reduction of redness
