This procedure is particularly suitable for facial mole removal as it can reduce the likelihood of scarring while promoting aesthetic improvement. Subsequently, the process of cauterizing the root of the mole with a CO2 laser can help destroy melanin cells that may remain deep within, thereby reducing the risk of the mole reappearing. This can lessen the chance of recurrent moles that appear to disappear but then resurface.

You may consider CO2 laser finishing treatment, especially if any of the following apply:

- When the mole is slightly raised or feels thick to the touch

Flat warts are viral skin diseases caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. They appear to spread widely on the skin's surface and look like small, thin, widespread brownish or flesh-colored lesions to the eye. They are particularly prone to occurring when immunity is weakened and can spread through self-contact, such as touching, so early treatment is recommended.

Erbium-YAG laser is advantageous for uniformly shaving off the epidermal layer of the skin. It can be effectively used for widely spread flat warts.

It can be usefully applied when treating multiple widely spread flat warts at once. It's possible to evenly remove lesions while reducing the burden on the surrounding skin. However, due to the nature of viral diseases, even if only the visible lesions are removed, there is a possibility of recurrence. Syringomas are benign skin lesions caused by an excessive increase in sweat glands (eccrine glands) in the dermis. They are characterized by multiple small, round, palpable lesions typically appearing under the eyes, on the cheeks, and forehead. They can be relatively common in individuals with a genetic predisposition or in women in their 20s and 30s.

After Mole Removal, How Long Should Duederm (Sticker) Be Worn?





The procedure to remove moles involves shaving off the outer layer of the skin, and during this process, physical stimulation is applied to the skin.

Keeping the treated area moist can help skin regeneration and reduce the likelihood of scar formation.

For these reasons, we recommend applying Duoderm, a hydrocolloid dressing.


Duoderm helps the process of new skin growth by keeping the wound area appropriately moist. This can minimize scab formation and contribute to reducing the risk of scarring.


It is best to apply Duoderm immediately after mole removal, change it every 3-5 days, and consistently manage the area for at least 7 days.

Overall, we recommend a management period of approximately 10 days.


If Duoderm use is uncomfortable or causes an allergic reaction, frequently apply a regenerating cream or moisturizing gel to prevent the skin from drying out. Additionally, it is important to carefully apply SPF 50 or higher sunscreen and avoid unnecessary touching of the treated area.
