Dual Toning, What Makes It Different?
Our Clinic's Unique Dual Toning
Even if laser toning and Genesis treatments are combined, not everyone can expect the same results.
Our clinic's Dual Toning creates a customized plan tailored to each individual's skin condition,
aiming to provide more delicate and effective treatments.
Rather than focusing on the number of sessions or equipment names,
we thoroughly analyze complex skin problems such as pigment depth, skin sensitivity, elasticity, redness, and pores,
and based on this, we classify them into a total of 5 detailed types to determine the treatment direction.
① Pigmentation Type – Skin primarily concerned with melasma, blemishes, or epidermal pigmentation
This is a condition where melanin pigment is relatively abundant on the skin surface.
In such cases, intensive care focused on laser toning may be necessary.
The focus will be on creating a clear and even skin tone.
② Combination Type – Skin with melasma accompanied by redness
This is a case where dermal pigmentation issues and vascular redness appear simultaneously.
Rather than strong stimulation, it is recommended to apply a wide area with low power to gradually induce a skin response.
This method can be considered for those with sensitive skin or who have not seen significant results from previous treatments.
③ Redness Type – Skin with noticeable redness, mainly around the cheeks or nose
It is characterized by fine capillary dilation, a sensation of heat, and sensitive redness.
In this case, the Genesis laser is repeatedly applied with relatively high power to
help stabilize blood vessels and improve skin barrier function.
④ Fine Wrinkle Type – Skin that is thin and dry, with prominent fine wrinkles
This can be seen as a state where the skin lacks moisture, the overall skin texture is rough, and elasticity is reduced.
By utilizing Genesis and applying overlapping shots over a wide range deep within the skin,
it aims to induce collagen regeneration in the dermal layer and improve overall skin texture.
⑤ Pore Type – Skin concerned with acne scars or enlarged pores
Often, there is a loss of elasticity around the pores or accompanying minor scars.
Skin remodeling effects can be induced through deep thermal stimulation treatments.

*Dual Toning Treatment, What Do We Prioritize?
The Dual Toning treatment offered at our clinic
is not merely a combination of two types of lasers.
1. Depth and distribution of pigmentation
2. Sensitivity and regenerative capacity by skin type
3. Additional problematic factors such as elasticity, redness, and pores
By comprehensively reviewing all these factors,
we conduct personalized planning, from the laser's wavelength and power to the handpiece selection and number of shots.
Establishing an optimized treatment plan for each individual,
is the core of the Dual Toning treatment pursued at our clinic.

This treatment can be considered for those who:
- This can be helpful for those who are also considering improving pores or skin texture that cannot be addressed by toning procedures alone.
- This may be suitable for those who expect relatively quick changes with a small number of treatment sessions.
- This can be considered if you are concerned about hyperpigmentation along with dark melasma.

Treatment Process
- STEP 01. Cleansing
- STEP 02. We establish and proceed with a treatment plan through individual consultation.
───────────────
Post-Treatment Care
- ㆍYou can wash your face and apply makeup from the day of the procedure, and consistent sun protection is recommended.
- ㆍIt is recommended to focus on sufficient soothing care and moisturizing for temporarily sensitive skin.
- ㆍAfter the procedure, some swelling or redness may appear, but most of these reactions naturally subside over time. If these symptoms persist for several days, we recommend visiting the clinic again for a consultation.

What is the difference between Melasma and Blemishes?
Melasma is somewhat different from the simple phenomenon of excess melanin pigment being produced and remaining on the skin.
It is observed that melanocytes, pigment cells located deep within the skin, become overly activated.
The melanin produced by these cells repeatedly spreads over a wide area.
As a result, it is a complex pigmentary disorder where pigment penetrates into the dermis and remains for a long time.
In particular, external factors such as UV exposure and hormonal changes are the main causes that stimulate melanocytes.
At this time, subtle inflammatory reactions or vascular-related factors within the skin may also be involved.
Unlike typical spots, the pigment appears faded and spread out over a wide area.
During tissue examination, the number of melanocytes itself often falls within the normal range.
However, these cells increase in size, and the dendritic structures, which are projections, show a clear increase.
This leads to more active and widespread transfer of melanin to surrounding skin cells.
In some patients, melasma areas may be accompanied by the expansion of tiny capillaries or redness, a flushing reaction.
When accompanied by such vascular-related symptoms, it is sometimes categorized and explained as 'vascular melasma'.
Melasma is closer to a phenomenon where the skin reacts sensitively to various stimuli rather than being a specific disease.
It can be understood as a result caused by various external stimuli when the skin structure is somewhat unstable.
Therefore, rather than simply removing pigment, treatments that correct the underlying causes of melasma and the structural aspects of the skin are important.
Dual toning can be considered for general pigmentation problems, but especially for melasma, dual toning may be a more necessary treatment method than regular toning.

Q&A
고객님들이 가장 많이 물어보시는 내용을 모았습니다.
What is the recommended treatment interval? Also, how many sessions are typically required?
Generally, treatment can be considered at 1-2 week intervals, and depending on individual skin conditions, consistent management of 10 or more sessions may be necessary. Detailed information will be provided during your consultation.
How uncomfortable is the procedure?
You may experience a slight stinging sensation during the procedure. The pain is generally not severe, so most people receive the treatment without separate anesthesia.
