Accordingly, we utilize a combination of two medical devices.

1. Secret Agnes RF (Insulated High-Frequency 1-Pin Needle)

By directly delivering high-frequency energy to the area with sebaceous glands,

the principle is to selectively coagulate the sebaceous glands.

Using an insulated needle minimizes damage to the epidermis or surrounding tissues,

and is designed to concentrate energy only on the sebaceous gland area.

This becomes an important process in managing the root cause of sebaceous hyperplasia.

2. Erbium YAG Laser (Er:YAG)

It allows for precise depth-controlled ablative procedures,

and is utilized to finely shave down raised lesions.

It can help reduce damage to surrounding tissues, lessen the burden of recovery, and decrease the likelihood of scar formation.

If necessary, it can be used in conjunction with a CO2 laser to manage deeper lesions as well.

This differs from treatment methods that merely remove the surface.

For CO2-only ablation: It primarily removes visible lesions, but the sebaceous glands themselves may remain, leading to potential recurrence.

Our combined treatment aims to selectively coagulate sebaceous glands and refine surface lesions, thereby reducing the likelihood of sebaceous hyperplasia recurrence.
